Daystar co-founder and president, Joni Lamb, is set to be laid to rest today, May 18, 2026.
In a special announcement on Daystar, the organization noted that Lamb’s service is set to be held at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, with the viewing at 1 p.m. and the service at 3 p.m.
On Facebook, the organization shared more details about what to expect during the service.
We invite you to join us in person to celebrate the life of Joni Lamb.
Joni’s Memorial Service will take place at Gateway Church’s Southlake campus this Monday, May 18 at 3 pm, following the viewing at 1 pm – both open to the public.
Come worship the Lord with us and hear from those closest to Joni about a life well lived. Each of you are a part of her legacy and we would be honored for you to join us for this special service.
Daystar also plans to air a special broadcast of the event on Tuesday, May 19.

Me and my family been watching daystar for over 20 years. We have given to the ministry and call in for prayers. We used to get Christmas cards from you guys at Christmas. Though we never met I cried and wept at your passing on the national day of prayer I was so sad like I lost a family member. I love you so much and may your memory and legacy continue.
