Daystar Television Network has announced the celebration of life plans for co-founder and president, Joni Lamb.
In a post on social media, the outlet wrote:
Thank you for the outpouring of love, prayer, and memories you’ve shared with us since Joni’s passing.
Daystar family, Joni truly loved sharing her life with you, and as we gather to celebrate who she was and what she meant to us, it wouldn’t be the same without you.
Please join us to honor Joni Lamb at a special memorial service on Monday, May 18th at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas.
The viewing is expected to take place at 1 p.m. with the service following at 3 p.m.

Since Lamb’s passing on Thursday, May 7, 2026, tributes from leaders, those who were impacted by Daystar and Christians around the globe have poured out their condolences.

I so loved Joni and her Jonie Table Talk. I live in Arlington Tx and made calls to join the prayer court. I looked forward to meeting her in person but now I’ll have to meet her on the other side. She was bold, beautiful and strong. Im saddened at her transition praying for her children and grands. May the Lord bless all that loved her with the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness

I can’t believe she’s gone…my condolences to the kids and grandkids..to lose both parents just few years apart would be totally unbearable but know that God says he’ll never give us more than we can bear…May God’s Holy Spirit be your comfort

1st Corinthians 10:13- that HE will not suffer(allow)you to be tempted, above that which you are able (to over come), but will with the temptation, also make a way to escape that you may be able to bear it! Our Father is not the one

God called Joni lamb so soon, it’s hurt breaking to admit she’s gone 💔 😢 not never forgotten, she’s always be in our heart for me Joni and Marcus are very extraordinary couples in my time. I watched Joni Lamb on Tabletalk for the last 20 years, I’m so grateful for her wonderful way with people and that she never failed to give an opportunity for people to come to know Jesus as Saviour, her upliftment of Israel and raising money and blessing the nation of Israel and the plight of the poor worldwide, you have been such a blessing to us dear Joni Lamb and we pray that legacy goes on with your family, all the way from Pennington South Africa I say thank you

She must have gotten sick suddenly because she was building a million dollar mansion for herself and Doug . Had she had health issues she wouldn’t have tackled such a large and important endeavor. I hope the family shares what was the sudden illness that attacked her . This is to show respect to the people who supported the ministry financially.
I’ll take a double anointing Lord for she paved a glorious road of faith Amen 🙏🏻
