For thousands of years, the Bible has told the story. Now, the stones are speaking for themselves.
In The Stones Cry Out, Dinesh D’Souza takes viewers on a journey through biblical archaeology, examining discoveries tied to some of Scripture’s most recognizable people, kingdoms and events. While archaeology cannot prove every miracle recorded in the Word of God, what has already been uncovered is stunning.
“There is only one nation in the world whose identity, whose very existence is based on a book,” D’Souza says. “That nation is Israel and the book is the Bible.”
That statement sets the stage for a journey through thousands of years of biblical history—from Abraham, Sodom and Gomorrah and the Exodus to Jericho, King David, Solomon, Isaiah and Hezekiah.
And some of the discoveries are difficult to simply brush aside.
Take King David.
For centuries, skeptics could argue that David was merely a legendary biblical character because there was no known ancient inscription outside of the Bible pointing directly to his dynasty.
Then, in 1993, archaeologists discovered the Tel Dan Stele.
D’Souza highlights how the ancient Aramaic inscription contained a reference interpreted as the “House of David.” Even more fascinating, this was not Jewish propaganda praising Israel’s beloved king. The inscription came from an enemy boasting about victory over a king connected to David’s dynasty.

The stones had something to say.
Then there is Jericho.
D’Souza points to archaeological findings of stored grain, evidence of intense fiery destruction and collapsed fortifications at the ancient city—details bearing striking similarities to the account found in Joshua.
Discovery after discovery continues to bring the ancient biblical world into clearer focus.
D’Souza also points to the Merneptah Stele, an Egyptian inscription identifying Israel as a people already present in Canaan more than 3,000 years ago.
Perhaps that is what makes all of this so compelling right now.
We are living in an era when biblical truth is routinely mocked, Israel’s ancient connection to the land is fiercely contested and Western civilization continues racing away from the biblical foundations that shaped it.
Yet underneath the soil, ancient evidence keeps emerging.
Jesus said something fascinating in Luke 19:40: “I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.”
Could the stones be crying out in our generation?
