In an address to Congress during his trip to America, King Charles III surprised Congress and the world with a pro-Christian message.
Speaking to Congress, Charles stated, “And, Mr. Speaker, for many here, and for myself, the Christian faith is a firm anchor and daily inspiration that guides us.”

Agreed!
America is a CHRISTIAN nation founded on CHRISTIAN values, and it must remain that way. pic.twitter.com/5w6kasqYHG
This speech comes as a shock, as King Charles did not give an Easter message this year but did acknowledge Islamic holidays such as Ramadan.
Last Christmas, he gave a heartfelt message to Christians “in areas where it is not easy to live out one’s faith.”
Back in 2024, the king also delivered a Christmas message, in which he shared that he believes the message behind the angels and shepherds can be gleaned “through all faiths and philosophies.”

King Charles’ recent remarks before Congress may sound encouraging on the surface, but they cannot be viewed in isolation. His past statements, along with his public emphasis on other religious observances while remaining silent at key Christian moments, have raised serious concerns.
At the same time, this moment offers an opportunity not for dismissal, but for discernment and prayer. If King Charles truly means what he says about the Christian faith being a “firm anchor,” then we should pray that this confession would deepen into a bold, unwavering commitment to the truth of Christ alone.
