What if the greatest deception surrounding UFOs isn’t convincing humanity that aliens exist, but convincing the world that they are our creators?
Researcher and filmmaker L.A. Marzulli is sounding the alarm over what he believes could become one of the greatest spiritual deceptions humanity has ever encountered, connecting the growing fascination with UFOs, the mysterious Nephilim of Genesis and even the rapture of the church.
For Marzulli, the trail begins all the way back in Genesis.
During a recent appearance on the Rebecca Lamb Weiss podcast, he described his early struggle as a Christian to understand some of Scripture’s most difficult Old Testament passages. Why the flood? Why the destruction of entire populations? Why did the God he encountered in those accounts seem so different from Jesus?
Then, Marzulli says, his understanding of Genesis 3:15 and Genesis 6 completely changed his perspective.
“That’s the game changer,” Marzulli said of discovering the biblical passages concerning the Nephilim.
Marzulli believes Genesis 3:15 reveals what he calls a “seed war” running throughout the biblical narrative: the conflict between the serpent’s seed and the seed of the woman that ultimately points toward Jesus Christ.
He argues that warfare becomes dramatically visible in Genesis 6.
Marzulli interprets the “sons of God” described in the passage as angelic beings who produced offspring with human women, resulting in the Nephilim. From there, he connects the mysterious days preceding Noah’s flood with one of Jesus’ most sobering end-times warnings: “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matt. 24:37, KJV).

For Marzulli, that question matters now more than ever.
He believes the modern UFO phenomenon could eventually become part of a massive end-times deception. Marzulli points to New Age teachings that describe a future scenario in which large numbers of people suddenly disappear from the earth because they supposedly no longer belong here or are preventing humanity’s spiritual advancement.
For Christians, the parallel is difficult to ignore.
Marzulli argues that such teachings could provide a ready-made explanation for the sudden disappearance of believers in the rapture: one that completely removes Jesus Christ from the equation.
And he believes an apparent extraterrestrial arrival could carry an even darker message.
“We are your space brothers,” Marzulli theorized these beings could tell humanity. “We created all life on this planet. We genetically manipulated early man.”
Marzulli repeatedly stressed that portions of his proposed scenario are conjecture. However, his larger warning centers on something Scripture unmistakably tells believers to expect: deception.
First Timothy 4:1 warns that in the latter times some will depart from the faith, “giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” Second Thessalonians also warns of “signs and lying wonders.”
Marzulli doesn’t simply describe the phenomenon as demonic. He calls it “Luciferian”: a deception ultimately designed to undermine God’s Word and replace the biblical Creator with another origin story.
The question may not simply be whether something extraordinary appears in the skies.
The question will be: Who does it say Jesus Christ is?
