“They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces will never be ashamed” (Ps. 34:5, NASB 1995).

David says, “They looked.” But who looked, and who are “they”? The answer is God’s children, His saints, those who have been set apart unto Him and whom He has chosen out of the world to be His.

“They [you and I] looked to Him and were radiant.”

Beloved, when we set our sights on HaShem, keep our eyes on God and stay focused on Yeshua, we are going to have victory in our life!

But we must continue to fight the battles as they occur, because as long as we are in this world the powers of darkness will resist us. In fact, Jesus talked about overcoming seven times in the book of Revelation, Chapters 2 and 3.

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God” (Rev. 2:7).

“He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne” (Rev. 3:21).

We must be overcomers. It is a necessary progression that matures us into Father God’s sons and daughters. It requires action, determination and a focus on Father! And as we keep our eyes on Him, we will become more and more radiant.

Father is going to create a supernatural youth in us. There will be a light radiating from us that will be both visible and obvious to the people around us. We will look different because of the joy of God that is permeating through our lives.

Do you know anybody, or have you ever seen someone who, when they are doing well in the Lord, displays the glory of God? You can see it physically. There is light coming from them. But when you take that same individual and they are not doing as well, maybe they are tired, discouraged or fighting a spiritual battle, they look totally different. It seems as if they have aged 15 years. But all of a sudden, a week later, you see them again. They are radiating with light, and it seems as though they are 15 years younger. Why the difference? Often it is because they have overcome.

The Holy Spirit will give life to our mortal flesh.

“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you” (Rom. 8:11).

The Spirit of the Lord is real. He is a substance. He is not just an idea or a fairy tale. He actually exists. We may not see Him with our natural eyes, but neither can we see gravity—yet we know it is there.  We cannot perceive television waves or radio signals with our human eyes, but the evidence of their existence is undeniable. The Spirit of God is real, and He has tangibility.

David said, “They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces will never be ashamed” (Ps. 34:5). Beloved, at the end of the day, we are going to be the ones standing on the top of the mountain. No matter what we face in life, we are overwhelmingly conquerors, and nothing can remove us from God’s love.

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom. 8:38-39).

When we see Yeshua, we are going to become like Him, for we will witness Him fully as He is. You and I are going to be transformed; we are going to be glorified. Again, we are going to stand on the top of the mountain. We are not going to be put to shame. There is a banner of victory over our lives. We are winners,  We are victorious, We are overcomers!

“Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is” (1 John 3:2).

I want you to know who you are and what your destiny is in God. You are a champion. You are a precious and irreplaceable child of Father God. You are born of His Spirit and you are intended to reign with Him— forever!

“And raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 2:6).
