Two decades after Kim Clement delivered his prophetic messages, his words continue to draw attention as believers revisit what the late prophet declared about spiritual shifts, the kingdom of God and events yet to unfold.

Following renewed interest in Clement’s October 2005 prophecy concerning Halloween, November and an unusual spiritual reversal, another prophetic message is worth examining. This time, Clement’s words turn toward the Christmas season, spiritual acceleration and God’s kingdom confronting the powers of darkness.

On Nov. 18, 2006, Clement delivered a prophecy warning that something would unfold during the Christmas season.

“The Spirit of God says, ‘Watch over the Christmas season, for there shall be the igniting of fires. You have heard of the fires on the West Coast, and the sign that I gave you when I spoke through my prophet. That the summer the heat shall go through to November. This was sign to My people that I am causing things to accelerate.”

While Clement’s references to fires and the Christmas season were made in 2006, his words also carried a broader message about spiritual acceleration and the advancement of God’s kingdom.

“I’m causing everything to multiply so that you may have access into the bitter things of the kingdoms of darkness. For they have ruled for too long, and My kingdom is about to appear. Yes, it’s about to appear, as it appeared to Daniel, as it appeared to Joseph, as it appeared to Isaiah, as it appeared to Enoch. Four great anointings are coming on to the earth.”

Clement’s declaration pointed beyond the confrontation with darkness to what he described as a coming release of spiritual anointing. By naming the biblical figures of Daniel, Joseph, Isaiah and Enoch, Clement connected his prophetic message to men whose lives were marked by extraordinary encounters with God.

He then turned his attention to another area of influence: the marketplace.

“And God says, ‘I will give you access to the marketplace. For God says, ‘ Acceleration has begun. Acceleration has begun.'”

Clement’s repeated emphasis on acceleration stands out as the defining element of this prophetic word because it spoke not only of spiritual opposition but also of multiplication, greater access, and the emergence of God’s kingdom.

Nearly 20 years after Clement delivered this message, his words still convey a clear urgency for Christians today: “Acceleration has begun.”
