Rabbi Kirt Schneider has spoken out in strong support of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to uphold former President Donald Trump’s ban on transgender individuals serving in the military. Referencing his international campaign, Taking the Rainbow Back, which launched over two years ago, Rabbi Schneider says he is “thrilled” by the ruling, calling it “common sense stuff.”
Quoting Deuteronomy 22:5, Schneider emphasizes the biblical foundation for maintaining the distinction between male and female: “A woman shall not wear man’s clothing, nor shall a man put on women’s clothing. Whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.”

He argues that these lines drawn by God in creation are not only sacred but essential to the health and stability of society. “There is intelligent design in creation,” he says, warning against allowing emotions or cultural trends to override God’s word.
The issue of war on gender is something Schneider dives into in his latest book, Decoding the Torah, where he explores more than one hundred laws from Genesis to Deuteronomy and their application for today’s believers. On the topic of gender, he writes that “the differences between maleness and femaleness are to be celebrated and preserved,” warning that ignoring these distinctions leads to “confusion and societal chaos.”
Not only is this a cultural battle, but Schneider sees the prophetic implications of what it could mean for Christians to support the truth in a society built up by immorality. In a dream, Schneider saw himself being removed from a governmental assembly and briefly jailed for speaking the truth. Despite the threat of further consequences, he still feels compelled to speak out on behalf of young boys and men who are growing up in a culture that denies gender differences. “They’re being told that there are no differences,” he says. “That maleness and femaleness are the same thing.”
Arguing that transgender inclusion weakens military readiness, Schneider recalls his own experience as a youth on a male wrestling team. “It was all men. I would have been heartbroken if they had allowed a woman onto the men’s wrestling team.” He claimed that male-only environments build strength and identity, while mixed settings compromise both.
Quoting Trump’s spokesperson, he notes that the president’s decision was about restoring a military focused on “readiness and lethality, not DEI, diversity, equity, and inclusion or some woke gender ideology.” According to Schneider, “merging the sexes together weakens men and it weakens women.”
Above all, Schneider issues a strong call for men to reclaim their God-given role: “Be men. Take your manhood back.” He believes that biblical masculinity brings security to women and restores the harmony God intended between the sexes. “Your wife doesn’t want you to follow them… They want you to lead.”

In a culture increasingly shaped by shifting ideologies, Rabbi Schneider’s message stands as a clear and uncompromising call to return to the foundations of biblical truth. As debates around identity and morality continue to intensify, his challenge to believers is simple yet urgent: embrace God’s original blueprint, stand firm in truth and refuse to be silenced by the voices of confusion.
