Revival has come to California. Not in a church building or among people in pews, but rather on a college campus.
In the latest and incredibly powerful Unite US event, thousands of young adults at Pepperdine University gathered where they heard the gospel, decided to be baptized and worshipped the Lord.
In a social media post, Unite US shared this tremendous news:
Thousands of students gathered at Pepperdine last night to worship Jesus together, and hundreds made the decision to give their lives to Him!!!
Students stayed after the event praying, worshiping, and celebrating together, and many were baptized!
We are so thankful for every student, church, ministry, volunteer, and person who helped make this night possible.
We truly believe what happened last night is going to have an impact far beyond Pepperdine. We are praying this is the beginning of something powerful across California!!!
Thank you, LA. We’ll never forget this night!
What is unfolding at Pepperdine does not fit neatly inside the traditional mold of revival. There was no Sunday morning service and no requirement that God move according to a religious formula. Perhaps this is precisely what a generation hungry for something real needs to see: The presence of God is not confined to four walls, and revival does not need permission from tradition to break out.

The prophet Joel declared that in the latter days God would pour out His Spirit, and that sons and daughters would prophesy and people would encounter Him in extraordinary ways.
