As the second half of 2026 begins, prophetic voice and minister Tomi Arayomi says believers are entering a defining spiritual season—one that will require unwavering trust in God’s protection, provision and supernatural guidance.

In a new prophetic message, Arayomi described July as the beginning of a period marked by both increasing turbulence and increasing divine acceleration for those who remain under God’s covering.

“The Lord says, ‘I will be an umbrella and a covering to those who choose to see Me as a place of refuge,'” Arayomi said.

Rather than promising an absence of hardship, he emphasized that storms will affect everyone. The difference, he said, is whether believers choose to remain under God’s protection.

“I will not stop the storms,” he said. “But I will be an umbrella…to anyone willing to come under My shade.”

According to Arayomi, July launches what he calls a new season of resistance designed to keep believers from stepping into their God-ordained assignments. Yet he believes God is also releasing supernatural acceleration for those who trust Him instead of relying on their own strength.

Using the account of Jesus’ disciples battling fierce winds on the Sea of Galilee, Arayomi declared one of the most memorable lines of his prophetic message.

“You will get where you are going without rowing,” he said.

He likened July to the starting blocks of a race, describing it as a divine “launch pad” into fresh momentum.

“July will be the month of a push-off,” Arayomi said. “Those that launch deep will catch much. Those that launch shallow will catch little.”

He also described this period as the beginning of “the suddenlies of God,” moments of divine breakthrough that, while supernatural, are cultivated through lives intentionally positioned before the Lord.

Another major theme centered on what Arayomi called building “Goshens”—places of refuge and provision modeled after the biblical land where God’s people were protected during Egypt’s plagues.

He challenged believers to think beyond themselves and begin building for future generations.

“Noah built an ark for the saving of his family,” Arayomi said. “Who are you building your arks for? Yourself or for your family?”

Arayomi also spoke of significant economic shifts that he believes could unfold globally, pointing to increased attention on gold and silver reserves while encouraging believers not to place their confidence in earthly financial systems.

Perhaps the most practical portion of the message came through his teaching on what he called “centrifugal” versus “centripetal” relationships. Healthy spiritual leaders, he said, propel people into God’s calling rather than drawing people toward themselves.

He concluded his powerful message with a sobering warning that spiritual battles over the world’s economic and geopolitical systems could intensify in the years ahead. Still, he urged believers not to respond in fear.

Instead, Arayomi encouraged Christians to seek God’s refuge, remain spiritually discerning and trust that His grace is sufficient to carry them through whatever lies ahead. As Scripture reminds us, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Ps. 46:1).

For those who remain under His covering, the safest place has never been the absence of storms—it has always been the presence of God.
