In a deeply personal memorial broadcast, family members, lifelong friends and ministry colleagues gathered to honor Joni Lamb.
“Her relationship with Jesus was real,” said her husband, Doug Weiss, his voice breaking with emotion.
Her daughter, Rachel Lamb Brown, described a woman who refused to let illness slow her mission. “The calling inside of her was bigger than any of the pain that she was feeling,” she shared. “No matter what she was facing physically, she continued to show up.” Even moments before a medical procedure, Joni looked her doctor in the eye and asked, “If you died today, do you know where you would spend eternity?” The doctor rededicated his life to the Lord before the procedure began.

Her other daughter, Rebecca Lamb Weiss, remembered a mother who was intentional about raising her children in the presence of God. “Through every season, I watched my mom live a life of faith, surrender, which was her favorite word, and obedience to God.”
Son-in-law Joshua Brown captured the breadth of Joni’s impact with quiet simplicity. “Joni was a life-giver, a builder, a truth-teller,” he said. “She wasn’t afraid to tackle tough topics or go against the mainstream. Most of all, she was a woman who carried eternity in her heart.”
Son-in-law Jonathan Weiss added, “She stood boldly for truth, for Israel, and for the freedom of the Holy Spirit. She co-labored to build something that was never just about television. It was about purpose, and faith, and impact.”
Joni Lamb gave her life so others could find theirs in Jesus. Now, as her family steps forward to carry that torch, this is the moment to pray for them and for Daystar.
