You sense God leading you toward something new, but you cannot see how it will turn out. The decision is frightening. Alwyn Uys has a message for those standing at that threshold: Take the step.
“It’s like the Holy Spirit is saying, ‘Be scared, but do it anyway. Trust Me in this season,’” Uys said in a recent video.
Uys described the message as a follow-up prophetic word for people facing a new venture, assignment or season. He said the Holy Spirit has been prompting them to move forward, even while they feel scared or confused.

“For many people, this step of obedience to take into this new venture, new assignment, new season, it’s going to change your life dramatically for the better,” he said.
While praying, Uys said a phrase he had heard his father use came to mind: “I love it when a plan comes together.” He understood it as encouragement about what God was leading people to do.
“I love it when you trust Me. I love it when you step into obedience. I love it when you can’t even see the outcome that you trust Me,” Uys said, describing what he sensed the Holy Spirit saying.
The word was accompanied by a vision. Uys said he saw a man standing on a hilltop, looking over a valley. He sensed God standing with the man as they looked at something the man had built after taking a step of obedience.
“There was something that he trusted God with and it succeeded,” Uys said.
Uys hopes the message will encourage those who have been waiting for confirmation to “step over the threshold.” They do not need to see the outcome before they obey, he said. He urged them to trust God through the fear and keep following Him.
“You will never regret following Jesus,” Uys said. “You will never regret being obedient to the Lord, because He sees the full picture. He knows the ending from the beginning. God is fully in control in your life, and you can trust Him.”
