The revival on college campuses continues to spread like wildfire.
In a post on X, Pathway Church Lead Pastor Travis Johnson shared a powerful moment: baptizing a student in the back of a pickup truck during UniteUS’ latest college campus event at the University of South Alabama.
The student, whom Johnson identified as Emily, had asked Jesus to be Lord over her life and was ready to begin a new life in Christ.
“Emily, have you asked Jesus Christ to be the Lord of your life?” Johnson asked.
“Yes, I have,” she replied.
“You asked Him to forgive you of your sins?”
“I have, and I need that so bad,” she continued.
“And do you believe He heard that prayer?”
“Yes, I do.”
Johnson then delivered a short, powerful message that posed a question to those witnessing Emily’s baptism.

“Jesus said any man that puts his hand to the plow and looks back is not fit for the kingdom of God. So, we’re going all the way to the end. I just want to ask, is there anybody here that will walk with Emily all the way to the finish line?”
In a separate post on Instagram, Tonya Prewett shared a video of the spectacular worship that happened as students lifted up the name of Jesus, glorifying God.
“God Moved at Unite South Alabama! Over 600 students made decisions for Jesus! What a God!” The video caption read. Prewett also wrote, “We will never get over last night! Thank you God for what you did at South Alabama!”
What is happening on college campuses across America is more than just a series of worship gatherings. Young people are boldly declaring their faith in Jesus Christ, leaving their old lives behind and publicly proclaiming that they belong to Him.
As revival continues to spread from campus to campus, the question is not simply how many students are making decisions for Christ, but how many will continue walking with Him long after the events are over.
