Pastor Jentezen Franklin is sounding the alarm about an ancient biblical prophecy and the nations he believes Christians should watch right now.
During a powerful message, Franklin pointed directly to Ezekiel 37 and 38, arguing that Russia, China and Iran are taking prominent positions on the world stage just as Scripture foretold.
“The same Bible that prophesies in the book of Ezekiel 37 and 38 that three nations would be in the front headlines of the whole world, Russia, China, and Iran,” Franklin said.
But Franklin’s warning went beyond simply watching these nations rise in global prominence. He believes they will eventually come together in a prophetic alignment against Israel.
“They will form a confederation,” Franklin said. “God will put a hook in their jaw. It may—I don’t know what that hook is—but they will attack Israel.”
Franklin did not speculate about what that mysterious “hook” could be. Instead, he placed his Ezekiel warning within a larger argument about the reliability of biblical prophecy.
He pointed to Israel’s restoration as a nation in May 1948, saying the Bible prophesied that Israel would one day return. For Franklin, what has already happened with Israel should cause believers to take seriously what Scripture says is still to come.

And his prophetic warning did not end with Ezekiel.
Franklin immediately turned his attention to Revelation, the Antichrist and technology.
“The same Bible that predicts in the book of Revelation that there will come an Antichrist and there will come a computer system,” he said.
“There will come an image of the beast. I believe that’s artificial intelligence,” he continued.
He pointed to the biblical warning of a coming system that will “control the whole world,” where people will be unable to “buy or sell without taking the mark of the beast 666.”
Ultimately, Franklin connected these warnings to something far greater than geopolitics or technology: eternity.
Franklin argued that the same Bible that speaks about Israel, Ezekiel and Revelation also records Jesus’ warnings about what comes after this life.
“You really don’t want to go to hell,” Franklin said.
For Franklin, the prophetic picture is a call to take Scripture—and eternity—seriously.
