We continue to see signs all around us about the end times, and it would appear that artificial intelligence is one of the driving factors for bringing the last days agenda into fruition. However, is it possible that AI is actually discussed in the Bible as a sign of things to come?
In a message by Pastor Otha Turnbough III of Lionheart Church, he details just how AI can be seen in Scripture.

“The angel told Daniel, he said, ‘You know you’re at the very end because there’ll be a technology explosion called AI. That’s what the Bible says,” Turnbough says.
How do we come to this conclusion? It’s much more blatant than most people think.

“In the book of Revelation it says it is a robot infused with AI that gives the command for everyone to receive the mark. Go read it. He said, ‘I saw in a vision…and they created a statue…’ The word ‘robot’ didn’t exist; statue did. So, he doesn’t know what he’s looking at. He just knows it was a statute.”
Turnbough then points out that the Bible notes how the statue was then given life.
“That’s called electricity. He said, ‘When the thing came alive, it started speaking arrogantly.’ And then, it says the robot…that had the ability to speak, it gave a command that every person that does not receive a mark must die.”
He then pointed out that this isn’t the only thing we can expect in the last days. Just as in the days of Noah there was wickedness and perversity which led to angels and women having half breed children known as the Nephilim, Scripture says that we will also experience the same level of wickedness in our time.

“Then it says something very scary. It says they existed in those days and the days after,” he says.
As we watch technology advance at an unprecedented pace, the lines between science and Scripture grow ever more striking. These insights remind us that the Bible may have already foreshadowed a future where artificial intelligence plays a pivotal role in the end times agenda—an era marked by both staggering innovation and alarming wickedness. Just as in Noah’s days, when corruption and perversion gripped the earth, we are now entering a season where spiritual discernment is more critical than ever.
