The G3 Church Network has reportedly ended operations as fallout continues over its leaders’ handling of plagiarism accusations against Texas pastor Tom Buck.
According to The Christian Post and a report by the media website Protestia, G3 partners received an email announcing that the Reformed Baptist organization was “dissolving the G3 Church Network effective immediately.” The message did not provide a detailed explanation but said automatic dues payments would be canceled by the end of the week.
“We are sorry for any pain we have caused you,” the email stated.
The decision emerged after four pastors at Pray’s Mill Baptist Church in Douglasville, Georgia, admitted they had improperly involved themselves in a disciplinary matter at Buck’s church. Those pastors included G3 President Scott Aniol, Matt Sikes, Dylan Joyner and Jon Norton.

The dispute began with an anonymous letter accusing Buck, senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Lindale, Texas, of repeatedly plagiarizing sermons. Protestia later traced the letter to Pray’s Mill, a congregation connected to G3.
In a letter to First Baptist Lindale’s elders, the four pastors acknowledged that they acted without knowing the complete circumstances.
“We confess that we sinfully meddled in the disciplinary process of your autonomous local church,” they wrote.
They also apologized for the damage done to Buck and his congregation before announcing their resignations from Pray’s Mill.
Signs of G3’s closure quickly appeared online. The organization announced that it would deactivate its X account, while its Facebook and Instagram pages appeared to have been removed. Its website is now listed as offline, with the message “G3 Ministries is concluding its operations.”
Founded in 2013, the network connected more than 100 churches in the United States and abroad around Reformed Baptist doctrine and expository preaching.
