Former Green Beret Paul Bock is warning Christians that the greatest danger surrounding UFO and UAP disclosure is not what may be flying through the sky. It is the counterfeit religion developing around alleged encounters with non-human intelligence.
“My concern honestly isn’t the phenomenon,” Bock told Bishop Alan DiDio. “My concern is the religion that’s forming.”
Bock, who served in U.S. Army Special Forces and worked in intelligence-heavy operations, helped organize a private UAP briefing for pastors. He said the meeting contained no classified information. Instead, organizers showed ministers publicly available government discussions and outlined the spiritual beliefs spreading throughout the UFO community.
According to Bock, this emerging religion already has its own theology, practices, sacred locations and influential messengers. Millions are hearing claims that non-human entities can deliver supernatural knowledge, emotional healing and spiritual advancement.
“This religion isn’t forming. It’s here,” Bock said. “It’s reaching millions of people.”

‘You Have No Control Over What It Is’
Bock warned that prominent UAP personalities are teaching people to initiate contact through meditation, altered states of consciousness and other spiritual practices.
“You have people being taught how to pop their head in the spirit world and say, ‘Contact me,’” he said. “Things will answer you back, and you have no control over what it is.”
The deception comes in different forms. Some describe the entities as highly evolved beings. Others call them angels, manifestations of God or expressions of a “divine feminine.” The experiences can appear peaceful and even produce apparent healings or supernatural knowledge.
“It may come across as very good, very seductive,” Bock said. “It could give you knowledge. It could give you power. It could give you healing.”
Bock spent time with UFO disclosure figure Steven Greer, who teaches a practice known as CE-5, or close encounters of the fifth kind. Greer describes it as human-initiated contact with non-human intelligence.
While staying at Greer’s home, Bock said he experienced what he understood to be a demonic attack. He described awakening under intense pressure and struggling to speak before finally commanding the presence to leave in Jesus’ name.
Bock believes such encounters must be tested against Scripture, regardless of how benevolent, enlightening or spiritual they appear.
“We have to know this so that no matter what I say, no matter what Alan says, no matter what anybody says, take everything that you are hearing and test it against this,” he said, referring to the Bible. “That’s the only thing that matters.”
His warning presents a direct challenge to the church. We cannot dismiss people who believe they have experienced something real, but neither can we accept spiritual encounters that contradict God’s Word. We must know Scripture, expose counterfeit spirituality and lead those caught in this deception to the true Jesus Christ.
