The Board of Peace is no longer just discussing peace. It is now laying out a blueprint for what Gaza could look like in the near future.
According to The Jerusalem Post, the Gaza Board of Peace unveiled an extraordinary six-month, $2.45 billion reconstruction plan encompassing 66 projects that would touch nearly every part of life in Gaza, from government and infrastructure to security, economic development and demilitarization.
Nickolay Mladenov, director-general of the Peace Council, urged nations gathered around the United Nations General Assembly to support the plan, declaring that the goal is to build something that will give peace “a real chance to endure.”
In another report by Politico, it was noted that U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff gave a presentation Wednesday to the United Nations where it was noted that almost $71 billion may be needed in order to give long-term support for Gaza.
“We have no plan B. Therefore, we will all work to have this plan succeed,” Witkoff stated.
Those words should grab the attention of Christians.
Charisma has followed the Board of Peace since its formation, asking whether this unprecedented international structure surrounding Israel and Gaza could represent another step toward the geopolitical conditions Scripture describes for the last days.

Daniel 7 and Revelation 17 describe rulers surrendering authority within an emerging global system, while Daniel 9:27 points toward a future covenant that becomes central to the final prophetic timeline.

What is unfolding around us now as the Board of Peace tries to collectively come together to fund a key portion of the Middle East cannot be ignored.
Charisma previously examined the striking parallels as powerful international figures gathered around a new organization promising Middle East peace. Israel later officially joined the Board, placing the Jewish state itself inside the emerging international framework.
Now that framework is moving from promises to plans.
The Jerusalem Post reports that Gaza’s proposed governing structure would operate under “one authority, one law and one weapon.” An International Stabilization Force would oversee gradual demilitarization, Israeli forces would withdraw from areas verified as demilitarized and a Palestinian police force would eventually assume civilian security.
Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair is also pushing for Hamas’ tunnel and weapons infrastructure to be dismantled.
Is this the fulfillment of Daniel or Revelation? We cannot know for sure right now.
However, Scripture told us what we need to watch out for: Israel, international power structures and cries for peace.
Now, all four are converging before our eyes.
