In a new study, it was discovered that there are seven stars in the galaxy which have a bizarre structure surrounding them, which have been dubbed as ‘Dyson spheres.’
This discovery has caused even secular outlets like NBC and Business Insider to question if these Dyson spheres are actually structures created by intelligent life outside of human beings.

The name Dyson sphere comes from the physicist, Freeman Dyson, who first came up with the idea of this possibility in in 1960. However, this theoretical structure appears to no longer simply be theoretical, but may have actual evidence supporting its potential.
“Researchers say they found seven sources glowing in the infrared,” NBC says, “but couldn’t find an obvious explanation for why these sources are glowing so much, which could mean they’re Dyson spheres.”
Business Insider notes that these strange sightings on the infrared technology could also be explained by clouds of dust surrounding the stars.
So, the question is, are these unusual infrared emissions coming off of these seven stars really part some type of alien doing, a natural phenomenon or could they potentially point to something we see in Scripture?
One of the descriptions of Jesus found in Revelation 1 says, “His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters. He had in His right hand seven stars, and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword. His appearance was like the sun shining brightly,” (v. 15-16).
These seven stars shining brightly could perhaps give us some insight, a foreshadowing or imagery, of Christ’s glorious brilliance of how all things belong under His power and authority. His Word and ultimate authority is “alive and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intents of the heart,” (Hebrews 4:12). Any Word Jesus speaks, any command He gives, is greater than anything else.
We might not have all the answers for why these seven stars are glowing brightly, but we can look back to the Word of God and see that Jesus has ultimate control over all power and dominion because it was through His Word that all things came into existence.
