What would you do if your pastor started preaching the truth?
In a video circulating across social media, Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell boldly proclaimed the truth about demonic doors of hidden witchcraft to his congregation. In a shocking turn of events, several people began to get up and leave the service.

“These angels that he [Satan] corrupted, that was thrown out of heaven, are the demons that roam the earth today,” Mitchell says. “They’re the demons that whisper in the ears of your favorite psychic when you go get your palm read. And these demons that have been watching you since you were young. And so, they whisper in the ear of the psychic…”
Mitchell points out that these demonic spirits speak through psychics to tell people all kinds of information about their background because they have been watching, waiting to strike in any way they can. He says digging into this false prophecy ultimately leads people away from the Lord Jesus Christ. Another key piece to all of this, Mitchell shows, is that people are not investing their time in the Word of God.
“You love sermons, but you don’t read,” he says. “Your little tarot cards. Your little sage. Your little crystals. Your little readings. All that stuff is demonic. How are you praying to God and got crystals next to your Bible at the same time? Too many sermons, not enough literacy.”

Mitchell further asked people where their heart was to obey the Holy Spirit and walk by the Word of God. He then made it clear that he would not stop preaching the truth even if people decided not to return. He would continue to preach the Gospel with or without those people who chose to get up.
“I ain’t trying to fill up no room. I’m going to preach this truth whether the room is full or the room is empty,” he says.
This message is a reminder that we live in a world accepting of witchcraft. Ex-witch Jenny Weaver has even noted that “Kids are introduced to witchcraft and they have no idea.” We cannot play around with things that are out of biblical alignment. If we do so, we will experience grave repercussions.

When compromise is common and conviction is rare, Mitchell’s bold declaration cuts through the noise. You can’t walk in the light while entertaining darkness.

The question remains—what would you do if your pastor started preaching the unfiltered truth? Would you lean in, repent and rise up? Or would you walk out like so many did that day?
Because in the end, it’s not about how full the room is—it’s about how surrendered the heart is.
