Let us gather on the National Day of Prayer, May 2, 2024, to pray for “times of refreshing” from the Lord:
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord” (Acts 3:19, NIV).

We know from 2 Chronicles 7:14 that God’s people must humble themselves, seek God and repent to bring healing to the nation. We have been proud like the Laodicean church, following our own programs and keeping Jesus away. We have not sought the Lord, but instead have served ourselves and become loveless and dead, like the churches at Ephesus and Sardis. Many of our churches have compromised or even encouraged sin in defiance of God’s Word, like the churches at Pergamum and Thyatira.
