As reports of UFOs, mysterious creatures and unexplained phenomena continue to capture public attention, author and researcher L.A. Marzulli believes Christians cannot afford to ignore the conversation.
During a recent interview with cryptozoologist Daniel Becker, Marzulli argued that increasing sightings of Bigfoot, unidentified aerial phenomena and other cryptids should be viewed through a biblical—not merely scientific—lens.
“There are some researchers that are squarely on the side of cryptids and others that are squarely on this side of aliens and UFO phenomenon,” Becker said. “But there is a connection, I believe, between these cryptids and the UFO phenomenon.”
According to Becker, many sightings appear to overlap with UFO activity, leading him to conclude the two phenomena are linked in ways many researchers are unwilling to acknowledge.
The discussion then turned to one of North America’s most enduring mysteries—the Alaska Triangle, a vast wilderness region known for reports of unexplained disappearances. Becker, who is based near Anchorage, was asked whether Sasquatch could be responsible for at least some of the missing person cases associated with the region.
“A lot of people ask me about the Alaska Triangle,” Becker said. “It is my opinion…that Sasquatch may be responsible for some of those missing people that have been abducted in the Alaska Triangle.” He also stressed that many disappearances can be attributed to other causes, including foul play, dangerous wildlife and Alaska’s unforgiving terrain.
Becker noted that Sasquatch carries a far different reputation in Alaska than in many other parts of North America.
“The reputation of Sasquatch in Alaska is not your benevolent, friendly neighborhood Bigfoot,” he said. “The reputation…is one of territorial aggression.” He added that hikers who unknowingly wander into what witnesses describe as Sasquatch territory “could mean bad news,” emphasizing that his perspective is based on years of interviewing eyewitnesses rather than speculation.
For Marzulli, stories like those emerging from the Alaska Triangle reinforce his belief that Christians should not dismiss these reports outright but instead evaluate them through the lens of Scripture.
“The moment we throw in fallen angel technology, Nephilim architecture, the seed war, genetic tampering, it all makes perfect sense,” Marzulli said, pointing to the biblical description of the days of Noah as a prophetic framework for understanding modern supernatural reports.
The two also expressed concern that Christians may be unprepared if public disclosure surrounding UFOs accelerates.

“The church needs to be ready,” Becker said. “There will be people that will be completely taken in and deceived by this alien phenomenon.” He warned that some believers “will hurl themselves into that net” of deception unless they are firmly grounded in biblical truth.
The interview also explored reports of strange atmospheric disturbances, alleged telepathic communication and other unexplained encounters. Becker repeatedly emphasized that every supernatural claim should be tested against Scripture.
“When you’re talking about a supernatural aspect…you’ve got to bring in the biblical connection because supernatural power either comes from one of two places,” he said. “It’s coming from the enemy or it’s coming from the Lord.”
As public fascination with UFOs continues to grow, Becker warned believers not to embrace every extraordinary story without discernment.
“It worries me when I see people in the Bigfoot research community that are just willing to believe anything they’re told,” he said. “As a believer, you really have to be cautious.”
Marzulli concluded by urging Christians to remain spiritually prepared.
“Christians really need to be on their guard,” he said, arguing the church must be equipped with biblical answers as interest in unexplained phenomena continues to increase.
