A Memorial Day camping trip in the mountains of Idaho has sparked fresh discussion about one of America’s most enduring mysteries after a group of teenagers claimed they encountered what they believe were multiple sasquatches deep in the wilderness.
According to a report from Fox News’ OutKick, 10 teenagers from Parma, Idaho, traveled to the Payette National Forest near McCall over Memorial Day weekend expecting a typical camping excursion. Instead, several members of the group returned home convinced they had experienced something far more unusual.
The report details a series of alleged encounters that unfolded over the weekend. One camper, identified as Abi, reportedly had an unsettling experience early in the trip but chose not to immediately tell the others because she did not want to alarm the group.
As the weekend progressed, additional campers reported hearing unexplained noises around the campsite and feeling as though they were being watched from the surrounding forest, according to Fox.

Several members of the group eventually concluded they may have been observing large, unidentified creatures moving through the woods.
The teenagers also claimed to have found what they considered unusual physical evidence around their campsite.
According to the Fox News report, they heard a knocking sound, as though someone were trying to start their car. Perhaps the most shocking account came from Daniel, who said that he “saw a figure on two legs,” which he describes as a “9-foot-tall creature with blank eyes,” according to Fox.
Stories like these can serve as a reminder that there are mysteries all around us. While believers should approach extraordinary claims with wisdom, discernment and a commitment to truth, Scripture also reminds us that much about the world remains beyond human understanding.
