Both fans of outdoor adventures and of “The Chosen” have much to look forward to in the coming weeks.
In a post on X, Jonathan Roumie announced that “The Chosen in the Wild” with Bear Grylls would be coming to Amazon Prime on August 9.
“The adventure begins soo-…okay nope. I won’t even say it,” Roumie wrote on X. “What I will say is that The Chosen in the Wild with my good friend @BearGrylls is streaming ON @primevideo August 9!”

In a trailer for the show, cast members Jonathan Roumie, who plays Jesus, Elizabeth Tabish, who plays Mary Magdalene, The Chosen creator, Dallas Jenkins, and other stars from the show are seen being tested by Grylls on incredible adventures such as skydiving, ziplining, trying strange delicacies and covering incredible, rugged terrain in places like Utah’s Castle Valley, the Colorado River, the Adirondack Forest and more.

This announcement comes as the trailer for Season 6 of “The Chosen” is set to release on July 26th. With both the new season and “The Chosen in the Wild” arriving in quick succession, excitement surrounding the global phenomenon continues to build.
