There was a time when the mainstream media at least attempted to be a source of truth. Today, it seems they’ve abandoned that mission entirely. L.A. Marzulli puts it bluntly:
“The mainstream media is engaged in nothing but—I don’t wanna use the word lies.”

We see this happening every day. Turn on the news, and instead of honest reporting, we find narratives designed to manipulate. As Marzulli rightly points out, this isn’t just about bias—it’s about outright deception. And what does the Bible say?
“Justice is held back, righteousness stands far away, truth is thrown to the street, and honesty cannot come in,” (Isa. 59:14)
This verse perfectly describes our world today. Truth has become inconvenient, discarded and trampled underfoot. But as Christians, we are called to stand firm, to be bearers of the light in a dark world.
The Battle for Truth and Freedom
It’s not just about the media. We’re witnessing a full-scale assault on free speech. Marzulli warns:
“Our First Amendment rights—just even being able to push against the prevailing narrative—might cause trouble here on our YouTube.”
Big Tech and major media outlets are doing everything they can to silence voices that challenge their agenda. But here’s the good news: God’s truth will never be silenced. No algorithm, no censorship, no government decree can stop the power of His Word. Jesus Himself said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away,” (Matt. 24:35)
