Chris Bledsoe, a UFO author and speaker who claims encounters with glowing orbs and a supernatural entity he calls “the Lady,” has suggested that a star alignment involving Egypt’s Sphinx could signal a change in humanity’s knowledge — possibly even the return of Jesus Christ.
Author and former Green Beret Paul Bock challenged those claims in an Oct. 6 interview with Charisma Media examining a prediction associated with Oct. 7, 2026. He warned that Bledsoe’s spiritual message directs people toward the Lady rather than Jesus.
“He is not pointing to God. He is not pointing to Jesus Christ,” Bock said. “That is the problem.”
Bledsoe has discussed his experiences publicly, including on “The Shawn Ryan Show.” Bock, author of “The Disclosure Agenda,” said interest in government UFO disclosures is leading people to seek explanations from figures who attach religious significance to the phenomena.
His concern is that those explanations can draw people into spiritual beliefs and practices that conflict with Scripture.
What Did Bledsoe Predict?
A clip included in the interview showed Bledsoe discussing Regulus, a star he connected with an anticipated alignment at Egypt’s Sphinx. He initially associated the event with Easter 2026.
Bledsoe said the moment would mark a change in humanity’s knowledge. Although he acknowledged uncertainty about what would happen, he suggested it could involve Christ’s return.

The interview also examined a report placing the anticipated alignment on Oct. 7 rather than Easter. The discussion centered on the revised date and the spiritual significance Bledsoe had attached to the alignment.
Bock separately said an earlier prediction about orbs emerging from the oceans around Easter had failed. Citing Deuteronomy 18:22, he said believers should examine prophetic declarations that do not come to pass.
But an apparent fulfillment would not settle the question of spiritual authority, he argued. Deuteronomy 13 warns against following someone whose sign occurs but whose message directs people toward other gods.
“Whether this comes true or not, it doesn’t really matter,” Bock said.
Why ‘the Lady’ Matters
Bock recounted Bledsoe’s descriptions of years of orb sightings and shadow figures tormenting his family. According to Bock, Bledsoe said those figures later escorted him outside to meet the Lady after he had vowed to stop discussing the phenomena.
Bock said the entity claimed responsibility for Bledsoe’s experiences and told him he had been chosen to proclaim that the phenomena were benevolent. She promised protection and evidence supporting his account.
“She will provide validating evidence to his claims, but it requires his absolute trust in her,” Bock said.
Bock said Bledsoe associates the Lady with Hathor, an ancient Egyptian deity, the divine feminine and a female Holy Spirit. He argued that these teachings lead people away from Jesus.
He described a developing religious movement that portrays UFO entities as advanced species, angels or spiritual beings within teachings that blend Eastern beliefs and Christianity.
“Ultimately, the goal is to lead people into doing a contact protocol,” Bock said.
Those practices involve attempts to contact what participants call nonhuman intelligence. Bock interprets them as summoning demons, familiar spirits or fallen angels.
He urged believers to examine the teachings behind supernatural claims, warning that biblical language does not establish biblical accuracy.
“We’ve got to get in our Bibles and we have to test the claims that people are making,” Bock said.
