The Jim Bakker Show team is inviting friends and viewers to celebrate Jim Bakker’s life and legacy on Monday, Oct. 12, following the televangelist’s death.
“You are invited to join us as we celebrate the life of Jim Bakker,” the team wrote in a social media announcement.
The post remembered Bakker’s ministry and the relationships that shaped his life.
“A pioneer of Christian television, builder, visionary, husband, father, pastor, and friend, Jim dedicated his life to sharing the Gospel and reminding the world,” the team wrote, quoting his familiar message: “God loves you. He really does.”

I was a drug infested alcoholic as well as an unwed Mother. Lost in every kind of way!
Jim and Tammy had a 2 week program full of hippies, bikers, bar tenders, alcoholics, etc.
At first I mocked and gripped for 2 weeks and by the end of the 2nd week I said God if you are real!
Well how could I ever thank those tow for their sacrifice to love us enough to preach the gospel? That was 1979 and I am still walking in the Kingdom blessings! Thank you Jim I will always love! 💗
