Moses hit a wall and told God to take his life.
That is the actual prayer. He said the burden of the people was too heavy, and if this is how it is going to be, kill me now. Read Numbers 11 sometime. It is one of the least sanitized moments in Scripture.
God did not rebuke him. God did not tell him to pray harder or trust more.
Numbers 11:17 “I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you may not bear it yourself alone.”
The answer to the strongest leader’s exhaustion was seventy other people.
Here’s what I’m seeing. Leaders treat capacity as a personal virtue. So when the load exceeds them, they read it as a character failure and respond by tightening. More discipline. Earlier alarm. Another system built for one man.

God read the same situation as a structural problem and fixed the structure.
Notice what He did not do. He never lowered the load. Israel still needed leading. He distributed the anointing already resting on Moses so it could operate through more hands.
If you are the only person in your operation who can do the thing, you have hired yourself.
Start with one function this week. Name it. Write down how you do it. Hand it to one person and let them do it worse than you for sixty days.
You were never supposed to carry it alone.
