For many Christians, conversations about the end times stir anxiety. Rabbi Kirt Schneider believes they should produce something entirely different: hope, courage and a renewed commitment to follow Jesus faithfully.

In a recent message, Schneider said believers should not attempt to predict the exact timing of Christ’s return, but should recognize the spiritual season unfolding around us.

“Obviously, no one knows the day or the hour, but we can know the season of His return,” Schneider said. “Yeshua gave us the signs of His return.”

A call to stand with love and truth

Schneider pointed to Jesus’ words in Luke 17, where Christ compared the days before His return to “the days of Lot.” While acknowledging that every person is in need of God’s grace, Schneider urged Christians not to compromise biblical truth out of fear.

“We are all, beloved, saved by grace,” he said. “However, we need to understand that … we need as a church to take a stand for truth.”

He emphasized that Christians should respond differently depending on the individual. Those who are hurting should be met “in the softest, most gentle, most loving, most compassionate way,” while those who openly reject biblical truth should be challenged with Scripture.

Courage over compromise

Rather than retreating from difficult conversations, Schneider encouraged us to remain faithful even when standing for biblical convictions comes at a personal cost.

“You have to be willing to pay the price. You have to be willing to speak up. You have to be willing to stand up. You have to be willing to be rejected because there is a price to pay,” he said.

Yet his message ended not with fear, but with confidence. Schneider reminded believers that the Holy Spirit empowers us to live boldly in a dark world and that the nearness of Christ’s return should motivate us to share the gospel with urgency and joy.

“Be strong and courageous, and do not be afraid,” Schneider said, adding that Jesus is coming again and calling His people to be “bold witnesses.”

The signs of the times are not an invitation to panic. They are a reminder that our hope is anchored in Christ, our mission remains unchanged, and our greatest response is faithful obedience until He returns.
