The internet erupted after Katy Perry stepped onto the 2026 Met Gala carpet wearing a futuristic white ensemble featuring a glove with six fingers. Within minutes, social media users and entertainment outlets began dissecting the bizarre symbolism behind the look.
Entertainment publication Indy100 reported that Perry’s outfit sparked “AI theories” after fans noticed the “sixth finger on her glove.” The outlet connected the imagery to the growing wave of artificial intelligence image distortions, especially malformed hands and extra fingers that frequently appear in AI-generated content.
People Magazine described the accessory as “a symbolic white glove with a sixth finger,” calling it “a clever reference to AI-generated deepfakes.”
Page Six reported that Perry’s look appeared to reference “digital illusion and AI-generated misinformation.”
But the symbolism reaches far deeper than artificial intelligence glitches.
For those who study biblical history, ancient giants and the Genesis 6 narrative, six fingers carry an unmistakable connection to the Nephilim. Second Samuel 21:20 describes a giant warrior with “six fingers on each hand, and six toes on each foot.” Ancient accounts, tribal legends and archaeological imagery across multiple civilizations continue returning to the same trait.

Now the question hangs in the air like a warning: Why does modern celebrity culture continue elevating symbols connected to the ancient giant narrative? Why parade the imagery before the entire world at one of the most-watched elite cultural events on earth?
The entertainment industry calls it art. The fashion world calls it symbolism. But what if the symbols are exactly what they appear to be? What if the Nephilim narrative never disappeared and the fingerprints of those ancient forces continue surfacing through modern culture in plain sight?
L.A. Marzulli has spent decades researching biblical giants, the Nephilim and supernatural traditions connected to Genesis 6. In a recent video, Marzulli directly addressed the meaning behind six-finger symbolism after being asked about a carving depicting a six-fingered hand.
“Six fingers is a genetic characteristics of the Nephilim,” Marzulli said. “We know that Goliath had six fingers and six toes. So is his brother. Other giants that were seen. Six fingers, six toes. Kandahar giant. Six fingers, six toes.”
Marzulli then described what he says Native American tribes passed down through oral history regarding six-fingered giants.
“The Nephilim and we talked about this in our Watchers series and also On the Trail of the Nephilim series with Chief Joseph Riverwind,” Marzulli said. “The chief talks about the six-fingered cannibalistic Nephilim red-haired giants that came into these tribes, would pick up a brave, just snatch them.”
Marzulli also recounted a tradition involving tribes displaying five fingers to distinguish themselves from the giant clans described in their histories.
“When certain tribes of Native Americans would see each other, let’s say across a field or they would come in contact, they would do this,” he said. “They would hold up their hand and it’s not to go ‘hi.’ They would show that they have five fingers not six fingers.”
At the same time, Marzulli distinguished modern medical conditions from the ancient symbolism.
“If you’ve got six fingers, that’s polydactylism. You’re not a Nephilim,” he said.
Yet the symbolism continues resurfacing with stunning consistency.
Ancient giant narratives. Genesis 6. Hollywood fascination. Artificial intelligence distortions. Elite fashion symbolism. The same imagery emerges again and again as culture drifts further into spiritual confusion and synthetic reality.
