Yeshua confirmed to His first followers that He was the Messiah by showing them how He fulfilled the ancient Hebrew biblical writings. He took them on a journey through the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms in order to illustrate how they accurately referred to Him.
“Then beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures” (Luke 24: 27, NASB 1995).
If we are going to be grounded in our belief that Jesus is truly the Messiah and the only way to the Father, we must not only have a grasp of the New Testament, but the Old Testament as well. If we do not fully realize how Yeshua completed the writings of the Old Testament (the Tanakh), we may, like some people, ignore the overwhelming historical proof of who Jesus is and falsely presume that Christianity is just a good religion. We may thus fall into the trap of saying, “As long as someone’s a good person, I’m not going to interfere with what they believe or what they think. Let’s leave well enough alone. All roads lead to the same place.”
“But the Lord said to Moses, ‘I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. It shall come about that whoever will not listen to My words which he shall speak in My name, I Myself will require it of him'” (Deut. 18:18-19).

Peter declared in Acts 3:22 that Yeshua is the one about whom Moses prophesied. This is why Yeshua could declare, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me” (John 14:6).
Do you know that there are, right now, some people in the Christian church who struggle with and even doubt the truth, that Jesus is the only way to the Father? Beloved, He is the only one. Either He is the only one for everybody, or He cannot provide salvation for anybody. We must, especially today, solidify our doctrine and understanding, and without reservation, declare that there is only one God, and God has only made one path to Himself—Jesus.
The Son of God came into this world clothed in humanity; God and man merged together. This is termed in theology, the hypostatic union: Yeshua is fully God and fully man, sinless and blameless. Jesus then, after leading a sinless life for 33 years, went to the cross while still bleeding from the lashes they gave Him. Then the nails were pierced through His hands and His feet. A spear went into His side, and the crown of thorns pressed down upon His head, causing blood to pour across His forehead. Our Messiah then breathed His last and said, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34a).
That was the most epic, selfless and merciful act that this world has ever witnessed and will only be equaled by His soon return.
Beloved, either Jesus is the Savior of the world, or He is the Savior of none. Either He is the one who died on the cross for the atonement of our sins, creating the only way to the Father—or He is not.
“Jesus was either a liar, a lunatic or the Lord.” — C. S. Lewis.
Messiah Jesus is the one true God of the entire world, and He needs to be preached to every tribe, tongue and nation—until His return.
Do not let the world intimidate you into retreating from sharing Jesus and the love of Father. Do not allow anybody to cause you to be timid or silent.
My prayer is that you will not back down because people say you are narrow-minded, naïve, ignorant or out of touch with reality. Be reminded that you are in good company, for Jesus too was persecuted for the truth.
“If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you” (John 15:20b, NKJV).
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him” (John 3: 16-17, NIV).
I ask Father God to fortify our faith to be built up more than ever. Though the world opposes God’s absolute truth, we shall be girded by the Holy Spirit to stand strong and be God’s witnesses and loving light to all people.
