Sometimes it’s important for leaders to hike a trail in search of residue from completed projects. Our path is worthy of reflection and study.

Louis Lamour provides good counsel for learning from a trail:

“In tracking, what the tracker seeks for is the thing out of place, the thing that does not belong.”

What was the change agent in your project path? Did you try a new approach? Did you stop doing something that was previously a staple?

The path is an excellent teacher.

“Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established” (Prov. 4:26).
