One Pastor’s Alleged Abuse and Cover-up Across Multiple Megachurches

“There’s nothing quite like waking up to discover that your church is being featured on an episode of ‘Dateline,’” Pastor Cal Jernigan wrote in a letter to Central Christian Church, the congregation he leads in Phoenix, Arizona.

Jernigan’s church has been under the microscope and featured in news headlines after he brought in Caleb Baker to work on their staff as the Lead Student Pastor and Associate Preaching Pastor.

On Feb. 12th Jernigan discovered Caleb was involved in a six month extramarital relationship with another staff member at their church.

WATCH: Prophecy Fulfilled as Voters Oust Chicago Mayor

Late Tuesday night, a friend of Tony Suarez’s text him with the news that Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s bid for a second term had failed. He was stunned with the news.

A pastor and the Chief Operating Officer of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, Suarez had prophesied in September 2022 that Lightfoot, the first openly gay person to lead the city, would not serve a second term. Lightfoot lost her Democratic primary for the mayor’s office Tuesday to Paul Vallas and Brandon Johnson, who will meet in a runoff in April for the position.

When he received the text, he went straight to the Chicago Tribune’s website to affirm what Darryl Hooper had told him.

Just Call Me Jack: Pastor Hayford’s heart, humility & authenticity allowed the Holy Spirit to shine through

The San Fernando Valley northwest of downtown Los Angeles is bordered by a quartet of mountain ranges that serve as the boundary of the huge fertile plain. Once home to thousands of acres of orange and lemon trees, after World War II most of the citrus groves gave way to middle class neighborhoods, parks and shopping centers.

It was in this sprawling suburban enclave known by Angelenos as simply “the Valley” that, in 1969, a young pastor named Jack Hayford found himself sitting at a stoplight in his car, not far from a small, struggling congregation called First Foursquare Church of Van Nuys. God spoke to him, confirming his calling to the church. Little did Hayford and his wife, Anna, know that the Lord would soon plant and root them there to nurture and expand a ministry beyond their wildest dreams.

Mario Murillo: ‘A Spiritual Earthquake’ Is About to Rattle California

I am awestruck. Awestruck is the perfect word. It means that the news is so good that it leaves you weakened and takes your breath away.

We see it when the Queen of Sheba visited Solomon. The Bible says, “And when the queen of Sheba had seen all the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built, the food on his table, the seating of his servants, the service of his waiters and their apparel, his cupbearers, and his entryway by which he went up to the house of the Lord, there was no more spirit in her” (1 Kings 10:4,5).

Amanda Grace: The Tie Between Purim and Disney Being Decrowned

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill on Monday taking away Disney World’s autonomy by ending the Reedy Creek Improvement District. “Today, the corporate kingdom finally comes to an end,” DeSantis declared.

That autonomy Disney held has allowed them to grant liquor licenses to themselves, create their own fire departments, transportation and emergency services on top of numerous other perks. Now, DeSantis will be appointing a new board to help in the decision-making process on the 27,000 acres Disney owns.

The Florida governor signing that bill fulfills a prophecy Amanda Grace originally heard from God on March 27th, 2021. God spoke to her two years ago that Disney would lose their crown, or in other words, lose the control and autonomy they have been operating in for the last 56 years.
