Years of pain. Years of bondage. Years of staring at the same mountain and wondering if it will ever move.
Daniel Adams says none of that means God needs years to turn the situation around.
During a recent service, Adams delivered a fiery message on faith before moving into an extended prayer line for healing, deliverance and restoration. His message was strikingly simple: One encounter with Jesus can change everything.
Drawing from Hebrews 11:1, Adams told the crowd that faith is far more than an emotion.
“Faith is actually a material,” Adams said. “It’s the raw material heaven builds your miracle out of.”
Adams pointed to blind Bartimaeus in Mark 10, the desperate beggar who refused to remain silent when he heard Jesus was passing by. Although the crowd tried to quiet him, Bartimaeus cried out even louder.
That desperation became the blueprint for Adams’ message.
“Religion is polite. Desperation is loud,” Adams told those gathered.

His point? Stop allowing doubt, embarrassment or the opinions of others to keep you from reaching for Christ.
Adams later emphasized the dramatic speed of Bartimaeus’ breakthrough. After Jesus told him that his faith had made him whole, Scripture says he immediately received his sight.
“He didn’t need years of prayer to undo years of darkness,” Adams said. “He needed one moment of contact with the healer.”
But Adams repeatedly made one distinction clear: He does not see himself as the source of the miracle. During the service, he explicitly told attendees that he is neither the healer, the deliverer, nor the Savior. His focus remained on Jesus Christ.
That message moved from preaching into action as Adams began praying over people seeking everything from physical healing to family restoration and freedom from spiritual bondage.
At one point, a woman told Adams she had been unable to smell for 16 years and also suffered from arthritis. He prayed for her nerve endings and sense of smell to be restored. Shortly afterward, another woman described herself as “really deaf,” saying she could not hear at all. Adams immediately began praying for her hearing to return.
Other moments included prayers concerning marriages, fear, physical pain, tumors and spiritual oppression.
Yet perhaps the night’s most powerful challenge was not simply to receive a miracle.
It was to become someone God can use to answer another person’s prayer.
Adams told the crowd that Christians often pray for God to “bring revival,” while the Holy Spirit is calling believers to “become revival.”
That changes the question.
Instead of merely asking, “God, when will You move?” perhaps believers should also be asking, “God, where are You asking me to move?”
Bartimaeus heard Jesus was passing by and refused to remain silent.
For believers staring down impossible circumstances today, Adams’ message carries the same challenge: Don’t let doubt have the final word. Jesus is still the healer—and one encounter with Him can change everything.
