In summer 2011, the band Downhere teamed with Grammy- and Dove Award-winning producer Mark Hiemermann (Michael W. Smith, Tait, Stacie Orrico) for a new pop-driven project, On the Altar of Love.
Band member and songwriter Jason Germain describes the release as “a proclamation of faith” and “an encouragement to continue on regardless of circumstance.”
