John Hagee: 5 Powerful Signs Pointing to the End Times

Pastor John Hagee is sounding the alarm: The prophetic clock is moving, the signs are intensifying, and the church cannot afford to sleep through this moment.

In a powerful message, “What Happens After This Life?” Hagee walked through biblical prophecy from Daniel to Revelation, connecting ancient Scripture with Israel, Jerusalem, technological advancement, global instability and the return of Jesus Christ.

His central argument was unmistakable: God has demonstrated throughout history that He knows the future, and what Scripture says about the end of the age will come to pass.

Here are five powerful takeaways from Hagee’s prophetic message.

1. God Is Still in Control of History

Hagee began with Daniel’s interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, pointing to the succession of Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome as evidence that biblical prophecy revealed the rise of kingdoms centuries before they unfolded in history.

“Our God knows the future. Our God controls the future,” Hagee said. “Our God puts kings up, and He puts kings down.”

For believers watching a world filled with political instability, war and uncertainty, Hagee’s message is that heaven has not surrendered its authority. Governments rise and fall. Leaders come and go. But God remains firmly seated on the throne.

And according to Hagee, the final kingdom belongs to Christ. He identifies the rock in Daniel’s vision that destroys the statue as Jesus Christ, urging Christians to build their lives, marriages, hopes and futures upon the Rock of Ages.

2. The End-Times Signs Are Accelerating

Hagee pointed to Daniel 12:4, which describes people going “to and fro” and knowledge increasing in the time of the end.

From automobiles and airplanes to rockets, artificial intelligence, heart transplants and brain surgery, Hagee argued that humanity has experienced an explosion of transportation and knowledge unlike anything previous generations witnessed.

Yet technological advancement is only part of the picture.

Hagee also warned about nuclear conflict and global instability, calling the present moment “perilous times.” While praising President Donald Trump’s peace efforts, Hagee pointed believers back to 1 Thessalonians 5:3 and its warning concerning cries of “peace and safety.”

The message? Don’t allow comforting headlines to put your prophetic discernment to sleep.

3. Israel Is God’s Prophetic Timepiece

Of all the signs Hagee discussed, one stood above the rest: Israel.

He called Israel’s rebirth on May 14, 1948, “the most important prophetic event since the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

Drawing from Hosea 6, Hagee connected Israel’s restoration after roughly 2,000 years with the prophetic imagery of being raised on the “third day.”

“We are now living 25 years into the third day,” Hagee declared. “The King is coming.”

He also pointed to Jerusalem coming under Israeli control during the 1967 Six-Day War.

“How did Israel defeat six countries in six days?” Hagee asked. “It happened because God Almighty was with them.”

For Hagee, Israel is not a prophetic side note. It is one of the clearest indicators of where humanity stands on God’s prophetic calendar.

4. The Rapture Is Imminent

Hagee’s message reached fever pitch as he turned toward the rapture.

“The trump of God is getting ready to sound,” he said. “Look up. Look up. Your redemption draweth nigh. The rapture of the church is imminent.”

According to Hagee’s end-times framework, believers will be caught up with Christ and subsequently appear before the judgment seat of Christ, where each person will give an account of his or her life before God.

Following the rapture, Hagee described the Tribulation, the rise of the Antichrist, the 144,000 Jewish believers, Armageddon and ultimately the triumphant return of Jesus Christ to Jerusalem as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

This isn’t prophecy meant merely to fascinate. It is prophecy meant to awaken.

5. Eternity Demands a Decision

Ultimately, Hagee’s message wasn’t about charts, timelines or geopolitical speculation.

It was about eternity.

Hagee contrasted the judgment awaiting those who reject Christ with the eternal life promised to those who receive Him, pressing his audience to consider whether they would be ready if Jesus returned today.

“It’s just so much easier to know Jesus than to do that,” Hagee said before inviting those who were not ready to meet Christ to respond.

People raised their hands, and Hagee led them in a prayer of repentance and salvation.

That may be the most important takeaway of all.

Prophecy is not given so that Christians can simply predict what happens next. It should drive the church toward holiness, urgency and evangelism.

The signs may be multiplying. The nations may be shaking. The prophetic clock may be ticking.

But Hagee’s question cuts through all of it:
