At the time of the publication of the Declaration of Independence on July 4,1776, Rev. Jacob Dusche, chaplain for the Congress that produced America’s founding document, prayed a powerful prayer for the new nation, and his prayer was recorded in the official proceedings of Congress.

It was America’s founding prayer, and in this video, I read it and elaborate on why its contents are so relevant for America and the church today. {eoa}
