Pastor Tammy McCollum was killed on Monday, April 6, but what happened following her murder is chilling.
As Charisma previously reported, McCollum’s husband, Eddie McCollum, has been charged with first-degree murder for fatally shooting her.
Now, in an update from The Christian Post, it was noted that McCollum called 911 and confessed to the killing of his wife, seeking God’s divine intervention.
An article by Queen City News released the conversation between Eddie McCollum and a police dispatcher.
“Hello. I need everything. Um. I shot by wife,” McCollum said before becoming more and more unraveled in disbelief.
“We were arguing. And I told her, I said…” he said before trailing off. “Why? Oh God. My kids and grandkids. Oh my God.”

As dispatchers tried to speak to McCollum, they prompted him to help her to which he said, “I can’t help her, she’s dead.”
“Do you think she’s beyond any help?” The dispatcher asked.
“I can’t tell you, don’t make me tell you,” he said.
The dispatch reassured McCollum that paramedics were on their way and asked for him to go outside with his hands up.
“Come on, man, don’t do this,” McCollum argued. “I killed my wife. I’m done.”
He further said, “I’m not leaving her,” when prompted to head outside.
“Oh God. Lord, help me,” McCollum said.
The Well Worship Center, where Tammy McCollum ministered, shared a post on Facebook detailing her memorial service. It will be held on Saturday, April 18, with the viewing at 11 a.m. and the celebration of life at 12 p.m.
During this time, lift up all of the family and friends who have been impacted by this horrendous tragedy.
