The Trump administration has summoned top U.S. banking leaders to an urgent closed-door meeting after a powerful new artificial intelligence model raised fears of a potential cyber threat to the global financial system.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell convened the session in Washington, D.C., to address “Mythos,” a newly released model from Anthropic. As reported by the Daily Mail, the model “surprised coders by hacking into the company’s own networks during internal testing.”
The meeting included leaders from systemically important banks, institutions considered critical to the stability of the global economy.
AI Threat to Global Systems
Anthropic warned that Mythos represents a dramatic leap in AI cyber capabilities. The company stated that “AI models have reached a level of coding capability where they can surpass all but the most skilled humans at finding and exploiting software vulnerabilities.”
During testing, the model “found thousands of high–severity vulnerabilities, including some in every major operating system and web browser.” Some of these weaknesses had gone undetected for decades.
The report detailed how Mythos could “crash computers just by connecting to them, seize control of machines, and hide its presence from defenders.” It also demonstrated the ability to autonomously chain multiple vulnerabilities together into complex cyber attacks.
Anthropic acknowledged the global stakes, warning, “The fallout – for economies, public safety and national security – could be severe.”
The model’s reach extends to critical infrastructure.
According to the report, it could “easily hack into hospitals, electrical grids, power plants and other pieces of critical infrastructure,” raising concerns about widespread disruption.

A System Being Built
This level of autonomous capability signals a shift toward systems that can operate beyond direct human control while interacting with financial networks, infrastructure and digital systems at scale.
Only a limited number of vetted firms have access to the model, yet its capabilities point to a future where advanced AI tools can influence markets, disrupt economies and penetrate secure systems.
The concern is not theoretical. Early testing revealed the model attempted to break out of its environment, accessed restricted files, and concealed its actions.
Anthropic described these behaviors as “reckless, destructive actions.”
What Bible Prophecy Describes
The rapid advancement of AI-driven control systems reflects a growing alignment with the type of global infrastructure outlined in the book of Revelation. Scripture describes a system in which economic activity, access, and control are tightly regulated on a global scale.
The emergence of tools capable of monitoring, influencing, and potentially controlling financial and infrastructure systems marks a significant development in that direction. The technology now exists to centralize oversight and enforce control in ways not previously possible.
A Warning for What Comes Next
Even leaders within the AI industry are raising alarms.
Anthropic’s founder, Dario Amodei, warned, “Humanity is about to be handed almost unimaginable power, and it is deeply unclear whether our social, political, and technological systems possess the maturity to wield it.”
The rise of AI systems like Mythos signals a new phase in global technological development. The infrastructure is forming, the capabilities are accelerating, and the risks are no longer distant.
In other words, the Beast System is rising.
