Corey Atchison says he feels blessed after courts declared him innocent. He spent 28 years in an Oklahoma jail for a murder he didn’t commit.

“You just move on, keep going,” he says in a video posted by ABC News. “That’s the only way you’re going to make it. I can’t hold no grudge. Life’s too short.”

Atchison was sent to prison in 1991 for the murder of James Lane during an alleged robbery.

Tulsa County District Judge Sharon Holmes says she believes the eyewitnesses were coerced into testifying against Atchison.

Throughout his trial and during his imprisonment, Atchison never stopped maintaining his innocence.
