Right after Joni Lamb’s passing, an emotional moment on Daystar’s Ministry Now left viewers reflecting on the reality of heaven and the eternal hope found in Christ.
During a recent live broadcast, Christian author and near-death experience speaker Randy Kay shared what he described as a powerful vision of Joni Lamb worshipping in heaven alongside angels.
“I had a vision of your mother,” Kay told hosts Rachel Lamb Brown and Joshua Brown. “I had a vision of Joni…just praising the Lord in heaven with thousands of angels.”
Kay went on to describe the overwhelming sound of worship he witnessed in the vision.
“One angel has the magnitude of the voice of 10 people,” he said. “So you can well imagine you have a thousand angels behind her, and as beautiful as her voice was here, it’s more beautiful and was more glorious in heaven.”
The deeply emotional conversation came as the Lamb family continues mourning the loss of Joni Lamb, who co-founded the Christian television network Daystar Television Network alongside her late husband, Marcus Lamb. Throughout the broadcast, Rachel Lamb Brown openly shared the family’s grief while also declaring their confidence in God’s faithfulness.
“My mom loved Jesus with her whole heart,” Rachel said. “And she spent her life pointing people toward Him.”
Kay, who says he clinically died after suffering pulmonary emboli and septic shock years ago, has spent much of his ministry speaking about heaven and interviewing others who have had near-death experiences. During the interview, he emphasized that believers who die in Christ are “more alive right now” than they have ever been before.

“I will speak of her in the present tense, not the past tense,” Kay said of Joni. “Because she’s more alive right now.”
The conversation repeatedly pointed back to the hope Christians have in eternity through Jesus Christ. Kay described heaven as a place filled with overwhelming peace, joy and constant fellowship with God.
“The greatest experience is being in constant fellowship…with God,” he said. “We don’t have that fully here, but in heaven it’s constant.”
At one point in the interview, Joshua Brown paused to share the gospel directly with viewers, reminding them that eternal life is found only through Christ.
“If you don’t know Jesus, this isn’t for you,” Brown said. “You don’t go to heaven without Jesus. The Bible says that Jesus is the way.”
The interview also served as a reminder of the enduring spiritual hunger many people have regarding eternity, heaven and what happens after death. Yet amid the fascination with heavenly encounters, the message remained centered on Jesus Himself.
As tributes continue pouring in for Joni Lamb from Christian leaders around the world, her family says the greatest way to honor her life is simple: keep pointing people to Christ.
And according to Kay’s vision, that is exactly what Joni Lamb is still doing now—only this time from heaven itself.
