Thousands of people responded to the Gospel during Forrest Frank’s recent Jesus Generation Tour stop in Louisville, Kentucky, as worship, prayer and a clear message of salvation filled the KFC Yum! Center.

According to The Christian Post, nearly 20,000 people gathered for the July 28 event, where Christian artist Forrest Frank shared his testimony before Pastor Jonathan “JP” Pokluda delivered a message that concluded with an invitation to follow Jesus.

Speaking candidly about his life before Christ, Frank told the crowd, “I’ve tried everything. I’ve tried the world. I’ve tried to satiate myself in every way. I tried to fill this void in myself for years in every direction.”

He then pointed listeners to the hope he found in Christ, declaring, “From the bottom of my heart, every part of me, Jesus is the only answer. Jesus is the only one who satisfies.”

Later in the evening, Pokluda used the illustration of a concert ticket to explain that salvation is a gift made possible through Jesus’ death and resurrection.

“Our place in Heaven was purchased for us by the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” Pokluda told the audience. “For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. It’s not of yourself. It’s the gift.”

As worshipers reflected on the message, Pokluda invited those responding to the Gospel to raise the illuminated wristbands they had received upon entering the arena. According to The Christian Post, thousands responded before he led them in a prayer of commitment.

“Jesus didn’t die for 90 percent of your sins. He didn’t die for 80 percent of your sins,” Pokluda said. “Jesus Christ died for all of your sins.”

The evening also featured worship from Chris Tomlin, Tori Kelly, Cory Asbury and The Figs, creating an atmosphere centered on worship, prayer and the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
