Intercessor Lou Engle is calling for a 50-day prayer movement from Passover to Pentecost. The purpose of this prayer call is so that believers can be “contending for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the setting of the captives free and the greatest harvest of souls the world has ever seen.”
In a video discussing the 50 days of prayer, Engle says that because of this coronavirus pandemic, our world will never be the same.
“Tens of thousands have been fasting in these 40-day seasons around the world,” he says. “I’ve never seen anything like it. It was God-breathed. An then this virus comes and all the structures and idols of the world are being shaken. But I also think something else is going on: The harvest is being ripened everywhere.”
