Conservative commentator Glenn Beck is telling Americans to brace for a crisis that could reach into their homes, cut off essential services and leave families waiting for help that does not arrive.
In a video titled “I Haven’t Given a Warning Like This Since 2007,” the broadcaster connects emergency preparedness campaigns across Europe, U.S. military readiness measures and alleged Iranian security threats. His warning: Americans should prepare before those disruptions reach their doorstep.
“I want to tell you to prepare for impact. And this is something that I don’t say lightly,” Beck said.
He compares his concern to warnings he gave before the 2008 financial crisis, while acknowledging his record includes predictions that did not materialize.
“I have warned you about things that have come true. I have warned you about things that haven’t come true and I hope this is one of those that don’t come true.”
Bottled Water, Cash and a Growing Warning
Beck’s concern begins with governments telling households to prepare to survive disruptions on their own.
“Germany is telling its people to keep 10 days. France and Ireland and the Netherlands also want 72-hour kits in every home. The Dutch are even now telling their people how much cash to keep in a drawer.”
He also cites British recommendations for water, food that requires no cooking, medicine and emergency equipment. The emphasis on physical cash carries particular weight in his assessment.
“That’s because they believe there could be some sort of digital disruption,” Beck said.
He acknowledges that basic preparedness alone does not establish that catastrophe is approaching.
“Now, none of these stories mean the sky is falling. None of these. A government asking you to keep 3 days of water is asking you to do what your grandmother did without being told.”
But he argues the combined pattern demands attention.
“Hear me. When something breaks, you’re going to be on your own for a while.”

Behind the Gates: 90 Days Alone
Beck then turns to a Pentagon initiative he identifies as Fortress, describing a requirement for major domestic military installations to operate independently for three months.
“It’s requiring now to have their own power, its own water, its own fuel, its own food and be able to close those gates and run for 90 days. Its own communications, everything.”
For Beck, the prospect of broken supply networks brings memories of pandemic shortages into sharper focus.
“Do you remember what happened during COVID? If you think that’s bad, imagine war.”
He also cites arrests near RAF Fairford, alleged plots involving the Iranian regime in Britain and an air defense deployment near Mar-a-Lago as reasons for concern.
“People who are running the West know things are breaking down,” Beck said.
He blames European leaders for weakening energy security and military readiness.
“They have sabotaged their own ability to make electricity. They have not paid for their own military.”
‘America Is Not Immune’
Beck’s prediction reaches beyond a conventional invasion. He fears a conflict that strikes the systems ordinary people depend on while unrest spreads through communities.
“More likely it is the kind of war already begun but enough to cause massive disruption. Vans outside of airbases, synagogues firebombed, power grids, water systems probed and bombed or destroyed, neighborhoods that are in trouble, in crisis with people on the street and the state no longer fully controlling it.”
“And I hope and pray I’m wrong. But massive war is coming.”
Turning homeward, Beck warns, “America is not immune.”
“Please don’t. I beg you, please don’t write this off. The radicals are already inside our house.”
He argues that the approaching election could slow the developments he fears, while cautioning that a vote alone cannot eliminate the danger.
“Our vote is not going to stop this from happening, but it may slow it down.”
‘Prepare for Impact. Do Not Panic.’
Beck closes with a call for preparation while urging Americans to keep their holiday plans and spend time with family.
“When a pilot says brace for impact, he’s not screaming. He’s calm because he knows what’s going to happen next, and he wants you to know it, too, so you are not freaking out.”
His immediate recommendation is to build reserves beyond the minimum governments suggest.
“Start with simple things. If they say 3 days, do 2 weeks. Just brace for impact.”
