The verdict is in, and the jury did not buy Caleb Flynn’s defense.
After months of disturbing allegations, explosive text messages and questions surrounding the death of his wife, Ashley, former worship leader and “American Idol” contestant Caleb Flynn has been found guilty on all nine counts against him.
According to Fox News, jurors deliberated for roughly two and a half hours before convicting Flynn of aggravated murder, three counts of murder, two counts of felonious assault and three counts of tampering with evidence.
Flynn appeared to break down as the verdicts were read, wiping away tears and sobbing in the courtroom, ABC News reported.
It is a stunning conclusion to a case Charisma has followed since Flynn was arrested following the Feb. 16 death of his 37-year-old wife.

Authorities accused Flynn of shooting Ashley inside their Tipp City, Ohio, home and then staging the scene to look like a deadly home invasion. The case escalated when Flynn was later indicted and his bond was raised to $3.5 million.
Then came the trial, and the messages that became impossible to ignore.
As Charisma previously reported, prosecutors presented jurors with a staggering trail of more than 100,000 messages exchanged between Flynn and Alleigha Botner, the woman with whom prosecutors said he was having an affair.
According to Fox News, some messages showed Flynn discussing wanting Ashley dead and contemplating ways she could die without him ending up behind bars. Prosecutors also highlighted ominous messages sent shortly before Ashley’s death as they argued Flynn had planned the killing.
Flynn’s bond was revoked following the verdict, and sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 5. Fox reported that Flynn could receive anywhere from 20 years to life in prison without the possibility of parole, while his defense has already indicated an appeal is expected.
Amid the courtroom drama, shocking messages and legal maneuvering, there is one person who cannot become a footnote: Ashley.
