Fox News abruptly announced that Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo is no longer with the network.
“We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter,” Fox News said.
The network said in a statement:
“The last episode of Mornings with Maria (6-9 AM/ET) aired this morning on FOX Business Network (FBN) and the show will transition to Mornings with FOX Business beginning tomorrow with rotating anchors. Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street which also airs weekly on FBN (Fridays, 7-7:30 PM/ET) will shift to FBN’s Wall Street effective this week hosted by Cheryl Casone and helmed by rotating anchors thereafter. FBN will also launch a new weekday programming schedule which will be announced in the coming weeks.
“Additionally, FOX News Channel’s (FNC) Sunday Morning Futures (10-11 AM/ET) will be hosted by Jason Chaffetz this Sunday and a new host will be announced at a later date.”
Details of Bartiromo’s departure remain unclear. She served as Fox Business Network’s global markets editor since 2014 and has hosted “Mornings with Maria,” “Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street,” and “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Bartiromo previously worked for CNBC. The network said upon her 2013 departure: “After 20 years of groundbreaking work at CNBC, Maria Bartiromo will be leaving the company as her contract expires on November 24th. Her contributions to CNBC are too numerous to list but we thank her for all of her hard work over the years and wish her the best.”
