A striking image from Mars is stirring global fascination—and controversy—as a pyramid-shaped structure spotted deep within the Red Planet’s surface raises questions about what may truly exist beyond Earth.
Located in Candor Chasma, part of the vast Valles Marineris canyon system, the formation appears to be a three-sided, symmetrical structure that bears a striking resemblance to pyramids found on Earth. According to the New York Post, the structure has even been compared in size to the Great Pyramid of Giza, further fueling speculation about its origin.
A Discovery Years in the Making
Though the image is only now gaining viral attention, the structure itself is not new. It was first identified in 2001 by NASA imaging specialist Keith Laney using data from the Mars Global Surveyor. Over the years, the formation has been captured multiple times—between 2001 and 2016—with consistent shape and structure.
Interest reignited after filmmaker Brian Dobbs shared the imagery online, bringing the decades-old discovery back into the spotlight. As reported by NewsNation, the image’s resurfacing has sparked renewed public curiosity and debate about what exactly is being seen.
Supernatural Signs of Intelligence?
The most unusual aspect of the discovery lies in its symmetry. Some believe that such geometric precision raises questions about whether the formation could be artificial.
Reports highlighted by the Daily Mail note that interest has also been fueled by references to CIA documents. According to the reports, “Project Stargate” used astral projection to find more information about Mars.
The Daily Mail also noted that a former CIA agent, Joe McMoneagle, said the agency found a pyramid larger than anything seen on Earth, “filled with monster rooms.”
A Prophetic Perspective: Discerning the Times
While discoveries like this captivate the imagination, they also raise deeper, spiritual questions.
Scripture warns that in the last days, deception will increase. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 24 that false signs and wonders would arise, capable of misleading many if possible. The apostle Paul echoed this in 2 Thessalonians, describing a coming deception marked by “lying signs and wonders.”
Could the growing fascination with UFOs, extraterrestrial life and unexplained phenomena be laying the groundwork for something greater? Could this belief that life on a far away planet be part of that deception?
Right now, our call is not to fear, but to remain grounded in truth. As the noise grows louder and the mysteries deepen, discernment becomes essential.
Because in an age of increasing signs and speculation, the greatest deception may not be what is seen—but whether it can take us off course from following Jesus.
