As headlines churn with Middle East upheaval and shifting alliances, prophetic voice Amanda Grace says believers must pay attention not only to what is happening, but to when it is happening.

In a new interview with Charisma Media, Grace pointed to the convergence of prescribed Scripture readings in the Jewish calendar and the escalating geopolitical realignment around Israel as evidence that “prophetic timelines actively come into modern day and align with the Scriptures.”

The discussion centered on weekly readings from the Torah, which includes selections from Exodus, Numbers and Ezekiel—passages read publicly on Shabbat in synagogues worldwide.

As Charisma noted, “there’s a reading from Exodus. There’s a reading from Numbers, and there’s a reading from Ezekiel,” emphasizing Numbers 19 and the red heifer purification rites as a striking theme. The passage describes the ritual elements—“the cedarwood, the hyssop”—used in the cleansing, which the host connected to the restoration of spiritual purity in the camp.

Grace saw this as more than a coincidence. “The Word of God is a living, active, breathing book,” she said. “It is living, active, and current for every generation. And because of that…what is in the Scriptures you see prophetically begin to align in timelines in every generation.” She argued that these moments of alignment serve as divine warnings and invitations—signals meant to awaken the church to the intensity of the hour.

The upcoming weekend’s Torah reading, in fact, is from Ezekiel 36, and the chapter’s themes are impossible to ignore in the current climate: God acts for His holy name, gathers Israel from the nations, cleanses impurity and idolatry, restores covenant identity and causes the land to flourish again.

Grace connected these promises to a bigger end-times framework. “The movement we’re seeing in the Middle East is meant to shift things globally in order to bring into alignment with God and his word for the latter events that are going to be setting up,” she said. In her view, Ezekiel wasn’t merely foretelling ancient restoration—he was “seeing these latter events that…we are actively watching set up now.”

And that’s where the geopolitical stakes rise. “There has to be global alliances that shift and certain leadership changes in order to align them with the timeline and the schedule of Almighty God and His word,” Grace said. She framed today’s diplomatic maneuvering and military developments as part of a larger reordering—one that ultimately leads toward the dramatic confrontation prophesied just two chapters later.

“Ezekiel 36 is just two chapters shy of Ezekiel 38,” Grace warned, pointing to the prophecy where nations “come and march on Israel.” She noted that in that hour, “many nations will put out a strongly worded press statement saying they condemn it, but that’s all they’re going to do.” The rescue, she said, won’t come from political coalitions but from God Himself: “It’s going to be Almighty God that comes in and rescues them.”

For Grace, that proximity—Ezekiel 36, lining up in the weekly reading while the region is being “jostled”—is a flashing signal to the church. Not to panic, but to discern. Not to fixate on speculation, but to recognize what Scripture already mapped: a season of restoration, cleansing, regathering—and global shaking that positions nations on a prophetic chessboard.

“This is why we’re watching this unfold right now before our very eyes,” Grace said. And for believers, the call is clear: read the headlines through the Bible, watch the timelines and pray—because the page turns quickly when God’s schedule is in motion.
