Are we seeing a prophetic convergence take place between biblical prophecy and modern-day military events?
In a powerful new livestream, prophetic voice Joseph Z explained the spiritual significance behind the strikes on Iran, the upcoming Jewish holiday of Purim and the blood moon set to take place right in the middle of it all.
“Operation Epic Fury and the feast of Purim, a blood moon, all these scenarios that are happening simultaneously are prophetic events,” Z says. “Even from the book of Jeremiah, chapter 49, when it begins to discuss or prophesy some of the events that could be unfolding right now in real time in front of us.”

Z read Jeremiah 49:34-39, which says:
The word of the Lord which came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying:
Thus says the Lord of Hosts: I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might. Upon Elam I will bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds. And there will be no nation where the outcasts of Elam will not go. For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before those who seek their life. And I will bring disaster upon them, even My fierce anger, says the Lord; and I will send the sword after them until I have consumed them. And I will set My throne in Elam and will destroy from there the king and the officials, says the Lord. But it will come to pass in the latter days that I will restore the fortunes of Elam, says the Lord.
Z points out that while we may not know at this time, it is plausible that what we are seeing is part of this prophecy being fulfilled.
“The Lord’s setting up His throne there after He completely devastates Elam, really, I believe, it’s likely we’re going to see revival in Iran,” Z says. “This could be pointing to that, and we could be living out Scripture right now.”
He also looked at the feast of Purim, stating, “…you see the fact that Iran is being liberated from a wicked regime and it’s Purim…if you don’t understand that we’re living in biblical prophecy right now, you need to really begin to open your Bible.”
As the headlines point toward military strikes, blood moons and ancient nations rising and falling, believers must not lose sight of the bigger picture. Scripture reminds us that God is not reacting to history—He is authoring it. The tension between shaking and revival is exactly where we may find ourselves today. What looks like geopolitical turmoil could very well be the stage upon which God is preparing to reveal His glory.
Jesus told us in Matthew 24 to watch the signs of the times, not in fear, but in readiness. Purim itself is a story of sudden reversal—of a plot against God’s people that became a pathway to deliverance. A blood moon falling in the midst of these events is enough to cause even the secular world to pause. But for the church, it should spark prayer, discernment and expectation. The Lord who judges nations is the same Lord who pours out His Spirit in the last days.
Now is the time to watch, pray and position our hearts for what God may be unfolding in real time before our eyes.
