Pastor Jack Hibbs pushed back against the brutal AB-495 bill at the Sacramento Capitol in California with droves of other Christians.
Hibbs organized a rally at the California State Capitol in Sacramento where the name of Jesus was lifted up on high and dark politics was fought. If the bill were to be passed, it could allow strangers the right to take guardianship of other people’s children. On social media, Hibbs highlighted the success of the rally, stating that AB-495 is now “in suspense.”

Thank you, Lord, for an incredible day and turnout as we rallied together in Sacramento at the Capitol against AB 495.
Thank you to all who came out to let your voices be heard, and to those who prayed for today!
AB 495 has now been put into suspense, but this DOES NOT mean that the fight is over.
During his morning daily prayer, Hibbs gave glory to God for what took place at the Capitol, and noted that yesterday was also Calvary Chapel Chino Hills’ 35 year anniversary.
“I want to thank all of you also for so many of you coming to the rally up in Sacramento yesterday. It was more than a success. God amplified it. God blessed it. People came,” says Hibbs. “The Lord was working in it.”
He further discussed how the legislative process normally does not draw media attention. However, the opposite happened in this situation.
“This is rare that stuff that stuff that goes on at the Capitol… [are] usually things that are done with a kind of media blackout. And we had the exact opposite. Lot of media, and it’s still percolating…May God bless our efforts yesterday to stop this very evil legislation.”

Pastor Ché Ahn, who is running to become the governor of California, also went to Sacramento to fight against this bill.
“I’m asking you to join me in Sacramento for Lobby Day as we fight to stop AB-495,” he wrote.

This victory is a reminder that when God’s people unite in prayer and action, even the darkest agendas can be pushed back. The church must remain vigilant, steadfast in prayer and bold in defending truth and righteousness, trusting that the same God who moved in Sacramento will continue to fight for His people and protect the next generation.

An amazing day!! I am so grateful for Pastor Jack who sounded the alarm on AB 495. As a CA school board member, I will not comply with the requirements in AB 495. I will work hard to make sure that EVERY parent knows their school boards ALL take an oath to protect and defend the US Constitution, not CA’s unconstitutional attempt at legalizing child trafficking. In addition, I’ll be working to get rid of the current EXISTING loopholes I was not aware of until AB 495 exposed them. In counties accross CA people are already removing children from schools without due process- AB 495 just makes it legal.
Pastor Jack Hibbs is a warrior for the people.
He has a heart for people and righteousness. May God bless Pastor Jack Hibbs 🙏🏼✝️
